Warrior Coaching is a consulting group dedicated to coaching teams of all kinds - business, sports, leadership - to achieve higher performance. Which means: accomplishing more, in less time, overcoming the various challenges we continually face - creating that rare camaraderie and magnetic energy of an elite, championship team.

Part of the reason we get thrilled by winning sports teams is they are 100% engaged in their work. The same is true in business and in life - the most successful teams are 100% engaged in their work. But less than 10% of teams are achieving their potential. (We've got data to back that up.) Teams get stuck - they avoid conflict - they go over budget - they quit - they fail - or worse, they stay together, get nothing done, waste time and money, spinning in circles - and are miserable in the process. There's a better way. We at Warrior Coaching help teams discover where they can be doing better, and - more importantly - how.

Led by "head coach" John Sandahl - nationally acclaimed championship ultimate coach, trained and experienced personal and life coach - John brings together the mindfulness and wisdom of a warrior with the spirit and mindfulness of an engaged champion. What we do.

The Power of Affirmation
Tuesday, August 11, 2015
The longer I work with teams the more I see this playing out in our work.  It is so important to acknowledge and affirm what works for you and for the team.  Over and over I see teams failing at this simple (and cheap!) task because it feels “unnecessary” or “scary” to affirm each other.  And yes, it can be scary but if you want to be a high performing leader or team – its oh so necessary.

The best teams do it routinely and yet still find a way to make it fresh and meaningful.  If you’re looking for more strategies to do this – Let’s have a chat! Read more.
